The owners of Looe Social Club approached NP Soft Furnishings to upgrade their tired seating and gaming tables.

As the function room is used for many different activities, ranging from cards/games, quiz nights, live music and big screen sports events they wanted the cards/games tables to have an undershelf so drinks could be placed underneath, leaving the tabletop free for game playing. The tabletop surfaces also needed a new finish that could be easily cleaned and suitable for many uses.

The seating in the social club was getting tired and needed upgrading. Comfortable seating was a definite requirement as clients are seated for long periods when sporting events are viewed on the big screens.

In answer to the clients’ requirements, NPSF supplied new bespoke tables and chairs and reupholstered the perimeter bench seating.

As comfort whilst clients are seated for long periods, and ensuring fabric durability was factored in, the perimeter bench seating was covered in faux leather which is easily cleanable and very durable. This material will also stand up to the sunlight that the backrests of these seats are exposed to, which was also important because the previous fabric had perished due to the sunlight.

The chairs supplied were carefully selected as their construction provided comfort together with an air of space for walkways. New seating of tall tables and high stools, were installed in the far corner of the room which utilised an unused area together with providing extra space that worked with the whole room

Finally, to tie all the fabric together, we created upholstered panels which were fixed to the bar front.
